Guests enjoy shared use of amenities, including pools, restaurants, shopping outlets and beach access, as well as the ability to charge purchases from The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas North and The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas to your villa.
A boardwalk attached to the resort provides convenient access to the beach. Be reminded that the natural beauty of Hawai‘i’s beaches may be accompanied by adverse ocean conditions that require you to act with caution to avoid injury. The beach in front of The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas is public property and is not controlled or patrolled by the resort, and there are no lifeguards. For daily surf, ocean conditions and warnings, please consult the information boards located near the beach walk or ask one of our Recreation Staff.
We invite you to check in after 4 p.m., and request that you check out before 10 a.m. local time. However, if your arrival or departure does not coincide with our schedule, the Front Desk will be happy to receive your bags while you enjoy the surrounding resort facilities.
Consecutive reservations may require moving villas from stay to stay. Villa assignment, including view designation, for each reservation is based on the date and time the reservation is confirmed. Reservations will be placed in the Villa type listed on your confirmation. Please make arrangements with the front desk for assistance with your luggage on the day that your new reservation begins.

Cribs, Highchairs and Additional Bedding
If you are traveling with children, we are happy to provide you with cribs and highchairs upon request. These items are limited in supply and therefore not guaranteed. Charges may apply. To make arrangements, please contact the resort up to 24 hours in advance of your arrival.
Rollaway beds are limited to one per villa and are not available in the studio premium villa due to space limitations.
Allow us to stock your villa with your preferred groceries from our Kai Ala Market. For a nominal fee, we will pre-stock your villa’s kitchen in advance with all of your favorite treats, beverages, sandwiches, breakfast foods, laundry items and fare for the grill. Please complete the order form and submit your request at least 24 hour prior to arrival. Your items will be waiting in your villa when you arrive or shortly thereafter.
Complimentary Internet access is available in your villa and throughout the resort. The Business Center also offers Internet, computer, printing and faxing services (fees apply).
Complimentary self-parking is available to Owners and external exchange guests at the resort.
Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18 years or older with photo identification to check in.
Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid photo identification.
Effective January 1, 2014, The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas modified its smoking policy to prohibit smoking (including electronic cigarettes) both inside the villas and on the balconies/lanais. If signs of smoking are detected, a $250 fee will be applied to your folio.
Additionally, in compliance with local Maui County and State of Hawaii regulations and ordinances, which limit smoking within 20 feet of a permanent structure and/or building, smoking is prohibited in the enclosed areas around the swimming pools, the restaurants and the children’s play areas. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas, which are available throughout the resort.

Transportation and Shuttle Service
Guests of The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas have access to a complimentary shuttle that runs between The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas North, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa and travels between Kāʻanapali and three pre-designated locations in Lahaina. All guests will be asked to show their villa key prior to boarding the shuttle, whose stops include the Lahaina Cannery Mall, and The Outlets of Maui Shopping Center and the Wharf Cinema Center.
To ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, items such as large strollers and large articles of luggage are not allowed on the shuttle. This is in compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations whereby shuttle aisles and exits must be obstruct-free. The driver has unrestricted freedom to operate the vehicle and passengers are protected from injury caused by displaced or falling items. Small umbrella strollers may be permitted based upon the shuttle driver’s discretion.
Wheelchair assistance can be arranged with an advance notice of 30 minutes. Please inquire with the resort’s Service Express team.
Voted the best beach in North America in 2003, this destination offers miles of sandy beaches and a variety of watersports, including parasailing, snorkeling and sunset cruises. Whale watching is a must between the months of November and April.

Sugar Cane Train
In the early days of Hawai‘i’s Western colonization, trains were used to haul sugar cane from one spot to the other. Eventually, more modern forms of transportation became popular, and today almost nothing can be seen of the original Hawaiian railroads. However, the tracks between Lahaina and Ka‘anapali are still functional, and the cherry-red Sugar Cane Train still travels them regularly. A dinner ride is available on select evenings.
